At The Cool Kids Table, we believe that no child should ever feel left out, overlooked, or forgotten. Our mission is to create safe, welcoming spaces where kids feel seen, valued, and included—starting with the simple idea of making sure every child has a seat at the table.
We understand that a child’s environment can shape their confidence, social development, and sense of self-worth. That’s why we work to break down the walls of isolation and replace them with opportunities for connection, mentorship, and belonging. Whether it’s in the lunchroom, the classroom, or the community, we strive to ensure every child knows they matter.
The Cool Kids Table is focused on creating intentional connections between kids and caring adults through a variety of in-school programs:
Partnership Building: We work closely with teachers, principals, and youth leaders to identify students who may need extra support and ensure we’re showing up in meaningful ways.
Lunchroom Engagements: We partner with local schools to show up during lunch hours, sit with students, and engage those who are often left out or sitting alone, offering conversation, encouragement, and a sense of belonging.
Mentorship & Support: Our team and volunteers build consistent relationships with students, providing a positive adult presence they can count on.
Founded in 2025 by Jared and Taylor Roe, The Cool Kids Table is more than just a nonprofit—it’s a movement to remind kids they’re never alone and always welcome. We’re setting the table for a brighter future—one child at a time.
